PREMISE #2
We believe THAT Christ-following, local church leaders (pastors, leadership team members, ministry leaders) are to be continuously loving God and loving others. As part of this, these leaders are to be involved in:
- Growing as disciples, being discipled and making disciples themselves personally
- Leading their congregation into this same Christ-following paradigm (Loving God, Loving Others - Growing, Being, Making)
Note - In order for this Christ-following paradigm to become part of the core fabric of the body life and culture of a local church, the church’s leadership (most importantly the lead pastor) must be personally experiencing it in their own lives, and must be actively involved in leading the church in it. Local church leadership’s on-going support, involvement, modeling and leadership are CRITICAL.
